Scaling the Terraces: 3D Pyramid Maze Is Here, and It Never Ends
Update, October 2026: The demo has grown up. The full 3D Pyramid Maze is now free to play here, with endless pyramids, a red chaser, treasure and a daily challenge. ▶ Play 3D Pyramid Maze

A maze shaped like a monument

Forget flat mazes. This one is draped over a square pyramid. You enter at the START in the middle of the base edge and work your way in to the golden SUMMIT at the centre. Every ring you get past lifts you a terrace higher, across all four faces. With the height and the corners in the way, the path is harder to read than it looks.

What’s new since the demo

  • Endless pyramids. Finish a level to unlock the next. The pyramids never run out, and each level is the same maze for everyone.
  • A red chaser. A red ball hunts you through the corridors. It is always slower than you, but it never stops.
  • Beacons. Cyan rings along the route act as checkpoints. Get caught and you restart from the last one you passed.
  • Treasure. Bronze, silver and gold coins are scattered over all four sides, mostly off the main path. The higher up a coin sits, the more it’s worth. Spend them on a Hint that lights the route, or a Freeze that stops the chaser.
  • Daily challenge. A new pyramid picked for each day.
  • Best times. Every level keeps your fastest run. The clock starts when you first move, so studying the maze is free.
  • Trails and themes. Your ball and the chaser leave glowing trails. Four themes: Sandstone, Jade, Ice and Midnight Neon.

Pick your difficulty

Rookie gives you 10 beacons and nothing chasing you. Scout and Ranger add a chaser and fewer beacons. Ace has no beacons and the fastest chaser.

Controls

Move with the pad at the bottom left, or the arrow keys or WASD. Movement follows your view. Drag with the mouse or one finger to turn and tilt the camera, and scroll or pinch to zoom. On a computer, Q and E turn the view and C snaps back to the starting view. On a phone, the right-hand pad turns and zooms.

Why it works

There are no menus to wade through, no long loading screens and no ads, just you, the terraces and the summit. Your progress saves in your browser, so you can pick up where you left off.
